At North Texas Waterfowl, goose hunting is how it all started. Since 1987 we have been bringing you high quality shooting at affordable prices, and that continues to this day. Our passion is goose hunting and making sure that you have an unforgettable experience. You will be provided with an experienced guide that is knowledgeable in all aspects of hunting these birds. From setting out decoys to calling em’ in those last few yards, your guide will do all he can to make your hunt the experience of a lifetime.
We currently hunt on over 200,000 acres of the finest farming ground in the country. And with this fine farm ground come the 500,000 to 1 million geese that winter here every year, and have so for many decades. Hunts are conducted in several different types of fields. Corn, winter wheat, and milo are the most common.
Morning hunts begin at around 5:00 A.M. when we will meet for coffee and/or a quick bite to eat. Hunters will participate in setting up the decoy spread which consists of about 30 dozen decoys of different styles. These include: Real Geese silhouettes, Green Head Gear Full Bodies, G&H Shells, or any others that are in our arsenal.
Unlike most outfitters, we not only hunt in the morning, but will also shoot in the afternoons too. We primarily pursue the Canada geese, but will not pass up snows when given the chance. And even if we get our limit of Canadas in the morning were gonna give the snows hell that afternoon!! We are gonna make sure that we give you every opportunity to get your limit
